Most exporters send your conversation to a server to build the file. We think that is a strange price for a PDF. Every Vellum extension does its work entirely inside your browser: the conversation you export is never transmitted, stored, or read by us.
The PDF is composed and rendered locally. There is no backend that could see your data, because there is no backend at all.
No sign-up, no email, no login. Install the extension and use it. We cannot lose data we never asked for.
Nothing you write or export is analyzed, stored, or sent anywhere. There are no third-party trackers and no ad networks in the extension.
The extension sends anonymous usage events, for example that an export started, succeeded, or failed. These events carry no part of your conversation, no file contents, and nothing that identifies you. We use them for one purpose: to see that the extension still works after the AI service it runs on changes its interface, so we can fix it quickly. The Chrome Web Store separately shows us anonymous install counts and ratings.
Read from the page only at the moment you press Save, used only to build the PDF, and never transmitted. When the export finishes, nothing is retained.
corpvellum.com uses privacy-first analytics (Google Analytics 4) to count visits and see what is useful. It stays off and sets no cookies until you accept in the consent banner; decline and nothing is stored. No fingerprinting, no ad networks. There is no mailing list and no sign-up form, so we hold no addresses at all.
Ask anything about this policy at About or corpvellum@gmail.com. We answer in plain language, like this page.
